Dream Design International, Inc. was founded by Hani Shafai, PE in 1998 as a multidisciplinary firm specializing in Civil Engineering, Real Estate Development, Property Management, Construction Administration and Landscape Architecture.
Dream Design has had a major impact in the City of Rapid City over the past 20 years with key projects such as Rushmore Crossing, Rocker Square at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, Homestead Garden Apartments, Red Rock Estates, and Black Hills Center.
Current projects that are transforming the city are the renovation of the Highway 16 Corridor at Buffalo Crossing and Buffalo Crossing West (the old Waterslide and Ranch Amusement Park properties), Johnson Ranch and Orchard Meadows off Elk Vale and Highway 44, and the 700 acre Shepherd Hills and Valley Industrial Park property by Menards and Western Dakota Tech.
You’ll also see Dream Design at work in the re-purposing and restoration of the Northgate Plaza Shopping Center – recognizable by it’s major anchor tenants KMart and Family Dollar.
