No Better Time for Signify Health: Future Orchard Meadows Tenant Provides Access to Critical Healthcare Needs

The landscape of the Healthcare Industry has changed dramatically with COVID-19.

In the midst of a global pandemic, millions of Americans are finding it difficult to access not only virus-related medical care, but also standard services required as part of their regular medical routine.

National powerhouse Signify Health has been a significant player in tending to these regular medical needs before the crisis and have become even more vital as trips to healthcare facilities become more risky.

They have also been called upon in this crisis to participate with the Government’s task force to ensure that testing needs are met and the most vulnerable and at-risk individuals can still receive important services:

We bring the nation’s largest network of mobile physicians and nurses who, enabled through our smart technology and logistical support tools, are able to reach patients in every county of the United States. Today we serve some 1.5 million Medicare and Medicaid patients each year and, by the end of 2020, will have saved the government more than $800 million with our episode-based bundled payment models. This track record is what led to the call. We have a proven ability to provide scaled clinical services where and when they’re needed and we will mobilize our clinical resources to ensure they get to those who need it most.

How it works: Signify is a network of at home service providers who are dispatched to the patient to provide essential services and healthcare in their homes.

According to their website, “Signify Health transforms the home into a hub for clinical, social, and behavioral care services. We manage the nation’s largest network of mobile clinicians, community-based organizations, and healthcare providers organized in value-based arrangements, improving outcomes for millions of individuals each year.”

A look inside the new Rapid City complex – to be used by Signify by Fall 2020

Last July, in conjunction with Elevate Rapid City, Governor Kristi Noem and National Signify Leadership, we broke ground on a 28,000 square feet facility in our Orchard Meadows development. The facility will house over 350 employees who work with patients to coordinate their care. Interior build-out continues on the facility which is anticipated to open this Fall.
